Calling all Winding River Plantation runners, it’s time for the annual Southport 4th of July Festival Freedom Run. This a family friendly event consisting of a 5k run and 1 mile fun run through the historic streets of Southport. Overall and age group winners are awarded with a one of a kind pottery bowl from local potter, Kimberly Caroon.
